The Food Bank is open by appointment and on the 2nd and 4th Sundays of the month, from 10 am to 12 pm. If you or someone you know is in need of assistance, please call the church office at 541-220-1040.
What is the Food Pantry?
The Food Pantry, a ministry of The Gathering, has been established to meet the short term needs of families in Corvallis who find themselves in an emergency situation regarding food. Emergency food assistance is given generously in a prioritized manner. First of all, we are called to take care of “the household of faith.” i.e., those who are a part of The Gathering. But we are also called to reach our community with the love of Jesus Christ, who showed compassion to the hungry and hurting. The Gathering's food bank is supported entirely through the generous donations of our congregation and is open every Sunday morning from 10am to noon, with emergency boxes being distributed on an as-needed-basis. Current Needs
For this month, we are asking for the following donations:
- Wrapped candy for our Easter Egg Hunt, scheduled for Saturday, April 8th at 10 am.
- Any other canned or boxed items you would like to give.
